InternEmilee Bynum

Emilee moved to Colorado in 2004 and has since fallen in love with the Rocky Mountains. She enjoys hiking, backpacking, biking, fishing, Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, almost anything found in nature. She has hiked Colorado’s two tallest peaks, Mount Elbert and Mount Massive, and can’t wait to summit more! Currently a junior at Colorado State University, studying Natural Resource Recreation and Tourism, with a focus on Environmental Communication, environmental education and travel is definitely a personal passion. This will be Emilee’s first international experience, but she has always been interested in other cultures and their unique educational experiences. She loves working with kids and animals, has volunteered in numerous areas of youth work and community service over the years, and is eager to expand her experiences with Global Explorers!
