Lots of people visit Machu Picchu. Some go for the history, some for the hiking, others because they feel a spiritual connection to the city. We went for those reasons, but I think on the 30 mile trek we discovered something deeper. We learned about working as a team and pushing through barriers and perceptions, but we also learned about the importance of service and giving back to society. So thank you.
