Leading the Way: Yucatan Leadership Program

The Yucatan Leadership Program team will explore the second largest barrier reef in the world, swim in the Yucatan’s famous freshwater limestone cenotes, visit awe-inspiring ancient Maya ruins and snorkel with whale sharks while discovering their own leadership styles. Program not running in 2010. Check back in August for 2011 program details.

From lush forests to barrier reefs and ancient Maya civilizations to modern day Maya communities, the Yucatan is a celebration of ecological and cultural diversity. In addition to the abundance of plants and animals on display, this exciting program challenges participants to explore their own leadership styles while highlighting the delicate balance between human life and environmental concerns. More than just a fun trip, this expedition seeks to spread awareness and shatter the public’s expectations about people with disabilities.
