LEAP Arlington Costa Rica 2011

We encourage Boston area high school students to apply to our Sustainable Tropics: Costa Rica 2011 program, jointly offered by Global Explorers and the LEAP Arlington. Costa Rica is truly a gem that reveals Earth’s amazing cultural and ecological diversity. Full of beauty, captivating people and rich biodiversity, Costa Rica has everything you could ask for in an educational travel destination. Traveling by foot, kayak, boat, canopy walkway and zip-line, this adventure will truly let you experience this wonderful country up close and personal. Along the way, we might cross paths with howler monkeys, poison dart frogs, resplendent quetzals, three-toed sloths, basilisk lizards and more. Join us as we stroll along Caribbean beaches, explore the rainforest and visit the mystical cloud forest!

This program is open to any high school student in Boston and surrounding areas such as Arlington, Lexington, Whinchester, etc. Charlotte Pierce from the Arlington Leadership Enrichment Adventure Project (LEAP) is helping to coordinate this program and will accompany students along with Global Explorers Expedition Leaders and local guides throughout their experience.
