Meet Our Board

Julie Rogers High School Science Teacher, The Park School, Baltimore, MD

Julie has been a science teacher at The Park School in Baltimore, MD for the last four years where she teaches Biology, Chemistry and Physics for 9th through 12th grade students. As the Upper School Service Coordinator, she also designs and implements the service program for 9th through 12th grade students.

Julie is also the founder and faculty advisor to Park Habitat which is a student lead project that has committed to sponsoring and building ten houses in ten years with Chesapeake Habitat for Humanity. Her obligations include raising $50,000 each year with student leaders, training students to become leaders, coordinating volunteer labor for the worksite, and educating the community on Habitat and poverty housing issues in Baltimore City.

Prior to working at The Park School, Julie taught science at The Peddie School in Hightstown, NJ. She holds a B.A. in Biology from Macalester College.
